How to use
This is a short guide. Before first use, also read the instructions that come with your warmer.
Fill
Fill outdoors or in a well-ventilated room, away from any flame. Open the lid and lift out the burner. Using the filling cup, pour fuel into the cotton: 2 cups for the standard size, 1.5 cups for the mini. With a new warmer, pour slowly so the cotton can soak it up. Wipe off any spilled fuel, then put the burner back.
Light
Keep the warmer upright and hold a lighter or match flame to the burner for 3 to 5 seconds. You won't see a flame on the burner: the catalyst starts working quietly. Close the lid.
Use
Put the warmer in its pouch straight away. It warms up gradually and reaches full warmth after about an hour. Don't hold it against the same spot of skin for a long time, and never use it directly on bare skin.
Care and storage
Replace the burner every one or two seasons to keep the warmth steady. At the end of winter, let the warmer run until the fuel is used up, then store it in a sealed bag in a dry place.
Travel
A used warmer and fuel can't be taken on a plane, in hand luggage or checked baggage.
